YELLOWJACKETS
Yellowjackets can be a formidable adversary, especially in defense of their domicile and their brood. The other side to their character is a highly developed social order within their colonies and an ecological role as predators upon many insects, and other arthropods.

I share this fascinating dichotomy with school children, civic groups, clubs, and other organizations. Audiences have included children in grade school classrooms and public library summer reading programs, as well as adult Lions, Rotarians, hiking and flyfishing club members, and others.
