“Books and Broadsides” celebrates the art form of hand letterpress printing in books and single-sheet broadsides (usually poems or short prose works presented as limited-edition art prints or posters).

LCC English instructor, poet, and hand letterpress printer Joseph Green has assembled works by some of the most prominent hand letterpress printers in the Northwest: Mare Blocker and Ian Boyden, both from Walla Walla; Elsie Vassdal Ellis, from Bellingham; Rebecca Gilbert and Barb Tetenbaum, both from Portland; Sandy Tilcock, of Eugene; Paul Hunter and Jessica Spring, both from Seattle; Catherine Michaelis, of Vashon Island; Samuel and Sally Green, from Waldron Island; and C. Christopher Stern and Jules Remedios Faye, of Sedro-Woolley.
