Rhyodacite of Llao Rock

This is part of the thick stubby flow/dome of which Llao Rock is the main topographic feature.
Rhyodacite is intermediate in composition between dacite and rhyolite.
This exposure is along the Rim Drive a short distance north of its junction with the North Entrance Road.
