Autumn (Fall)
Deciduous trees are losing their leaves
after they've turned color.

Autumn in Longview, WA

In the northern hemisphere the hours of daylight are steadily getting fewer, while the nights are getting longer.
This is a result of the location of the latitude where the sun is overhead,
at noon, moving south.
On December 21 it will be at 23 degrees 30 minutes south,
the Tropic of Capricorn.
