Mount St. Helens ash plume due to rockfall from growing spine on new dome, May 12, 2005

Mount St. Helens remains active as the new dome continues to change due to ongoing extrusion. A rockfall from a growing spine on the new dome produced this ash plume on May 12, 2005.
