  6. Discuss submarine canyons, turbidity currents, and turbidites.
  7. List, describe, and illustrate the features of a typical deep-ocean basin.
  8. List and describe the general types of seafloor sediments.
  9. Describe the formation of coral reefs and atolls.
  10. Discuss the significance of oceanic hydrothermal vents.
  11. Describe the resources obtained from the seafloor.
