  1. Describe the characteristics of the A, B, C, D, and E zones of the modified Köppen scheme.

  2. Locate the A, B, C, D, and E climate zones on a world map.

  3. Identify climographs for each of the types (e.g., Mediterranean) of the climate zones.

  4. Describe the primary factors responsible for the global pattern of climate on an idealized hypothetical continent (Figure 8-45).
